Abstract

The Technical Committee on Motor Vehicle and Miscellaneous Sector was
inaugurated along with nine other committees on Tuesday 1s1 June, 2010 for
the 2009 industrial studies on the 10sectors of the ManufacturersAssociation
of Nigeria (MAN). Over the years, the Raw Materials Research and
Development Council (RMRDC) has been carrying out Techno-Economic
Surveys on the 10 industrial sectors of MAN to determine the state of these
sectors with regard to indigenous resource development and utilization.
Previous surveys were carried out in 1989,1992,2000,2003 and 2006. The
2009 survey is,therefore, the 6th update.
