The first phase of the study in 2004 featured ten commodities namely Benniseed, Cocoa, Cassava, Gum Arabic, Maize, Rubber, Oil Palm,Groundnut,Cotton and Soya beans.This attempt was widely commended by all stakeholders and the encouraging comments received necessitate the conductof the second phase of the study.The publication is the result of the work in the second phase of the programme. The commodities considered in this phase of the data compilation include Cashew, Castor, Ginger, Mango, Citrus, Pineaople,Rice, Sugarcane, Sorghum and Sheanut.
