Overview

The beetroot is the taproot portion of a beet plant, usually known in North America as the beet, and also known as the table beet, garden beet, red beet, dinner beet or golden beet.

Uses & Applications

Beets are commonly used in the treatment of liver diseases and fatty liver. They are also used help lower levels of triglycerides (a type of fat) in the blood, lower blood pressure, improve athletic performance, and reduce muscle soreness.
